A musical treat was had by all who attended the concert put on by the Maryland State Boychoir at Silver Falls on Monday July 21.  The choir was conducting a tour of the Maritimes and New England States.  The Board was contacted in June to see if we would like to host the choir for a concert.  Our only regret is that we did not have more time to advertise this wonderful choir.

The choir arrived on Monday evening, in time for a lasagna dinner.  The boys were ravenous after hours on the bus.  After supper, they donned their choir gowns in time for the 7 pm concert.  The crowd was enthralled by the wonderful  harmonies of the choir, whose members ranged in age from 7 to 21.  A wonderful time was had by all.

On Tuesday morning, they returned for a pancake breakfast prepared by a top crew of chief cooks and bottle washers and then we sent them on the way to their next destination with home-made bag lunches.
