Beaver Rock-Climbing Adventure

We had a great turnout in November for a Beaver rock-climbing adventure at the New Brunswick Community College.

The Beavers had the opportunity to try several different climbs which varied in difficulty from easy to a climb which would have challenged Tarzan.  Some Beavers described it as the best Beaver Activity ever!

Everyone turned out for an evening of food, fun and fellowship to welcome Reverend Dave Cleveland and our new church secretary, Wendy Pottle.  We even had a visit from Squirt the clown!  A great time was had by all!

Christmas Gala

Silver Falls was the place to see and be seen at The First Annual Christmas Gala Evening held this past Saturday.  Wonderful food and beautiful music were enjoyed by all those present.  Bidding on the gorgeous items offered for sale at the Silent Auction brought out the competitive spirit in all of us.  A word to the wise:  don't try to outbid Diane Janes on carrot cake with cream cheese icing.

Christmas Exchange

It’s that time of year again to start thinking about helping families during the Christmas holiday  Each week we will put a notice in of what we need. Items this week: Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce & canned Vegetables; Cans of Apple Juice, Tomato Juice, Tea & Coffee.
