The Brown Bag Lunch Program

The Brown Bag Lunch Program is doing very well thanks to the generous contributions of our combined congregations of Glen View, Park Avenue and Silver Falls UNITED churches.  It is because we have come together in a UNITED format that has made this program the success it is.  We, the committee and the schools, thank you for your generous donations whether it is goods, money or volunteer time.  All are appreciated.

In September we had a drive for the non-perishable goods and it was agreed we would have another drive for goods in January as well.  If you can help with any of the following items there will be a bin at the back of each church marked Brown Bag Lunch Donations.  We will be making 2600 lunches between January and June so all donations will be put to good use.

Please join us on Easter Sunday for pancake breakfast before the service.  There is a sign-up list in the back of the church for folks who would like to bring items for the pancake breakfast.  We will be serving breakfast from 8:30 am to 10:15 am.

Then join us for the Easter Sunday service at 11 am.

Annual Flea Market

A note from "Simply Pam"--- Beloved Church Family you are all invited to work, donate or just attend the Annual Flea Market on Sat. April 2nd. Please start gathering your "treasures" but hold onto them until further notice. We will again feature our Hol-e-y Cafe, bake and book tables. Stay tuned for updates!

This week on "The Committee"...

The Committee" is a series of videos from the folks who make Chuck Knows Church.  It tells the story of a group of people at a fictitious, but typical church with a dwindling congregation that is in transition.  Tune in as they explore what it means to be a church family in the 21st century.  It will make you smile.  It will make you think.  It may answer some questions and will definitely trigger more questions that need to be asked.

An Irish Blessing
